Our stay at Anantara Ubud was nothing short of magical. We had a fantastic experience in our private pool villa, and our dedicated butler, Satria, truly made the difference. His attentive service was incredible and made us feel like royalty throughout our stay. From the moment we entered, every staff member greeted us warmly whenever we arrived or left the hotel, which added such a personal touch. The driveway alone sets the tone — luxuriously designed with serious security, giving us peace of mind. Nestled deep in the jungle, the resort offers complete privacy, ultimate luxury, and serene tranquility. Surrounded by pure nature, we found the perfect combination of comfort and escape. My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful honeymoon stay at Anantara Ubud Bali Resort, and it was truly one of the most memorable experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and attention to detail were exceptional. Kirana Restaurant impressed us with outstanding service, excellent communication between teams, and very attentive care regarding our preferences. The In-Room Dining experience was honestly the best we have ever experienced across all Minor Hotels properties we have visited — from the food quality and speed of service to the overall setup and attention to detail, everything was flawless. The room experience was equally outstanding. Housekeeping maintained the room beautifully throughout our stay, and the honeymoon setup and special touches made our experience even more meaningful. Breakfast at Kirana was excellent on both mornings, with delicious food, great variety, and warm service from the team. Our dinner at Amerta was another highlight, with exceptional food quality and a fantastic atmosphere. The resort itself offers breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere that made our honeymoon truly special. A heartfelt thank you to every team member for creating such beautiful memories for us. We are already looking forward to returning again in the future.

We recently stayed at Anantara Ubud Bali Resort and had a truly wonderful experience. The service was impeccable from the moment we arrived until our departure. Every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. We were especially touched by the fact that the staff continued waving goodbye even after our car had driven a considerable distance away. It was a small gesture, but one that perfectly reflected the sincere hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. The culinary offerings were excellent. The dishes were delicious and thoughtfully tailored for international travelers who may not be accustomed to very spicy food, allowing our whole family to enjoy the meals comfortably. The excursions were also very well organized and professionally executed. My two teenage daughters and I joined the Mount Batur sunrise trek, and our guide, Ms. Devi (I hope I got her name right), was absolutely wonderful. She took great care of my daughters throughout the trek, and her attentiveness, encouragement, and positive attitude made what could have been a strenuous climb a much more enjoyable and memorable experience. The Balinese massages were another highlight of our stay. They were deeply relaxing, rejuvenating, and the perfect way to unwind after a day of activities. I would also like to express my appreciation to the concierge team for their responsiveness and attention to detail in helping us arrange our activities before and during our stay. Overall, Anantara Ubud Bali Resort exceeded our expectations in every way. We left with wonderful memories and are grateful to the entire team for their outstanding hospitality. We would not hesitate to return on a future visit to Bali.

Beyond Reni and Era, we were equally impressed by the entire Anantara team. Almost every staff member we met was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always greeted us with genuine warmth. Our stay at Anantara Ubud Bali Resort exceeded every expectation. Nestled in the peaceful hills of Puhu, around 45 minutes from the bustle of central Ubud, the resort offers an incredible sense of seclusion. Surrounded by lush protected rainforest, the setting is simply breathtaking and provides the perfect escape to reconnect with nature. The rooms and villas are beautifully designed, blending contemporary luxury with authentic Balinese touches. Waking up to uninterrupted views of the rainforest through the floor-to-ceiling glass walls was one of the highlights of our stay. The resort’s facilities are equally impressive, with two stunning pools—including a peaceful adults-only infinity pool—a well-equipped 24-hour gym. The dining experience was outstanding throughout our stay. Breakfast at Kirana offered an extensive selection of both international and local dishes, while the Indonesian and Balinese specialties were particularly memorable with reasonably pricing for a 5 star resort. What truly made this resort unforgettable, however, was the people. A heartfelt thank you to Ibu Era at reception, whose kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Through Era we booked a driver to take us around and the service provided and pricing was very good. Ibu Resh at the restaurant provided exceptional service every day, always with a warm smile and thoughtful attention to detail that made every meal even more enjoyable. We would also like to thank Farul, the in-house photographer, who captured beautiful memories of our stay with incredible professionalism and dedication. As other clients have pointed out, the hotel is very far away from everything, but it provides a free shuttle service to Ubud. But bear that in mind for food options, we mainly ate at the hotel as it was just easier than driving somewhere with traffic. One last thing: the hotel is very quiet in the evenings, which we didn’t mind, but bearing in mind the beautiful lobby etc it would be great if the resort provided some board and card games for adults. There is a ping pong and pool table which unfortunately cannot be used in the evening. We mentioned this to the reception and they appreciated our suggestion.
